Pressure Relief Device Maintenance Help

This system provides a way for a division to keep track of pressure vessels and the relief devices associated with them. A vessel can have more than one relief device or a relief device can be on more than on vessel. Each relief device has as schedule of maintenance according to the FESHM chapter. Information about a relief device is recorded when it is inspected or tested. When a device is due for inspection/testing, email is sent to the owner. This email is configurable by the PV/PRD DB Manager which is a person assigned by each division to manage the system for that division. The configuration can include which type of vessel and vessel status should be sent a notification for that particular month. And it can specify any additional people who should receive a master copy of the message detailing who was notified for which device. The message includes a link to each device concerned. On configuration of the message, the DB manager can choose to send the message right then, or it will be sent on the first of the month.

Why don't I see all my PRDs on the Index?

The default index display is done based on the vessels in the system. If PRDs are added and not assigned to a vessel, they will not appear on this list. Use the link on the right hand side titled "View by PRD on which Vessel(s)".
